Song graduated from UC Davis with B.S Degree in Biotechnology. Prior joining the Ehrenberg Lab, Song worked at the Brain Tumor Biorepository Tissue Core at the UCSF Department of Neurosurgery where she assisted in clinical trials and research studies for CNS tumors using histology and immunohistochemistry techniques. Following this, she led histology efforts for the Grinberg Lab at the UCSF Neurodegenerative Disease Brain Bank at the Edward and Pearl Fein Memory and Aging Center. She started with the Ehrenberg lab in 2025. In addition to her role in the Ehrenberg Lab, she supports histology efforts at the UCSF Neurodegenerative Disease Brain Bank in the Fischer Lab.
